Supercoat - Strong National Growth

The Supercoat range of coating systems are now being recognised nationally in New Zealand by Tradesmen, Architects and Specifiers as providing leading solutions and high quality products. The last two years have been a period of uncertainty for most in the coatings industry, but CFG Coatings has been experiencing a strong period of growth as they take market share from other big players in the acrylic coatings industry.

The year 2009 started off grimly for the paint and coatings market for most coating manufacturers, however, it slowly started to pick up pace towards the end of the year. Moving into 2010, many industry players were cautious but nevertheless hopeful that the year would bring about the recovery of the industry back to more acceptable levels. CFG Coatings and their Supercoat range of products have noticed a remarkably consistent increase in demand through this entire period of economic uncertainty.

The release of the new line of Supercoat cement based renders and textures to the market in early 2010 has shown remarkable growth due largely to their high build capabilities and extended working time. Formulated for increased durabilty and elastomeric capabilities they are unprecedented by competing brands on the market.

CFG Coatings are in a strong financial position and are seeing the realisation of their national chain of Paint Centres with Dunedin already up and running, Central Otago currently under construction and Auckland will be open for business in the next few weeks. CFG Coatings is currently targeting the Australian market with many joint venture deals coming to fruition.
